I ride Northern WI where the trails are very tight and twisty, and the UP trails that are moguls and straight. How would the Phazer do as a trail sled on lakes and railroad beds? What is top end on these? I am interested because I need a light steering sled due to an injury and am concerned about the heaviness of an Apex or even a Vector. I am coming off a 2002 Skidoo ZX 700X.

They steer awesome.... and ride great.... i rode them at the demos in the spring, and wow, what a blast.... they seem a little underpowered, but ran about 80mph.... it is my understanding that yami found some power and much better clutching on the sleds than the protos had....

go for it... if you ride the tight and twisties... this thing is for you..... might get a little old on the rr grades, but the smiles in the bumps and turns should make up for it....

in a perfect world, i would have bought an FX to go with my Attak for those fun little days around home.....

Good idea ;)!

I think I'll do that to compliment my Apex GT then claim I bought it for the wife.

But then my wife doesn't already have a Vector like somebody else we know.

i had to get one for the wife to go w/ the attak

Wifes Sled, that is what I say........

I too bought a phazer FX, for the wife. I started out thinking, it would be for me and she could ride it when she went with me..........

Well, been just over 100 miles this year here in WA, and well only 5 miles for me on the phazer, as my wife adores the thing. It was made for her. In some regards it is the best sled I have ever bought, because it makes all my riding more fun, even when I am not on it!!!!

Great sled in the twistes, but does take some getting used to I think.

nice, i'm glad she likes it, i'm hoping the same with my wife so far no riding time, but she has taken a big time liking to it, good luck with the phazer this year

Hey Shark, how do you like those SLP SLT skis on your sleds? Do they track straight and turn real easy?
