We are going to go out the Big Horns in March and I'm wondering if we need to do anything to our Phazers before we go. I'm going to rent a Nytro for two days and my kids and wife are going to ride the Phazers on the trails. I read about the clutching and the over revving of the motor. Should I be concerned about this? If the snow allows, I might take the Phazer off trail and I can see riding it a little harder than the kids and wife.

Can anybody give me a heads up before I ruin something.....

Thanks!

I'm sure it'll be fine. We have crazy terrain here in Newfoundland and it the phazer deals with it no problem.

I took mine out to Togwotee last year and had absolutely no problems trail riding with it. (9,000-10,000 ft elevation) I checked plugs after the first day and they looked just as good as any ride in the Midwest. I wouldn't touch it, your wife and kids will have no problems! Have fun! My wife rode mine and by the time we left she was side hilling smaller hills and harder pack hills with no problems.

that is the joy of fuel injection it regulates itself. the only thing i would worry about is clutching.

X2

And no need to worry about over reving...the Rev limiter has got you covered. Just go have fun! ;)!

How would you clutch differently? The STD has the Ulmer clutch in it and the GT has the stock clutch.
