i changed my first set on my RTX just under 9000 miles... they were in bad shape, but still did not damage the flex.y-pipes... just did my 40th the other night... 7300 on that sled... 2 were shot.. 2 looked worn but still in tack.....
as said above... shave a bit off the clamps so they have a wee bit more "clamping force". this seems to make them last alot longer... but if i can keep up my so far results... i will have well over 15000miles before looking in again.. (cross my fingers)
