Great suspension on the GT I have. Moguled, wash board trails were no problem, especially holding the throttle around 60 mph. Easy to stand, loads of fun to ride, although the GT has a bit of ski lift with a whip/torque of the front end if you really try gettin' it in the turns. My main sled is an Attak, and I would almost rather spend my time on the Phazer. You'll hear most on here poo poo at the lack of power, but I felt it held it's own on everything except the long straights and lakes. Low end power lifts the skis everytime.

I also went from a SRX700 to the Phazer.Once you ride the Phazer for a few times then get back on the SRX you will wonder how you ever rode all scrunched up and holding yourself up with your arms.I would say for comfort and all day riding you are going to be amazed.
The Phazer does great in bumps and makes them fun at a different pace.If the trail is smooth and twisty NOTHING compares to a SRX.My phazer last year was way slower in the corners than the SRX not because of power diff but because it is tippy compared to srx.You also will be mastering lot of braking before the corner and NEVER totally letting off the gas since the engine braking will upset things but you will get used to it and it is actually nice in some situations not needing the brake. My SRX actually rode better the faster you went.Even over big stuff. But you really paid for that in smaller bump where it is not even close to the ride Phazer has for smaller stuff.Put it this way.I let a buddy of mine ride the SRX in a place called Kettle Moraine.Tight ungroomed trails in the woods.I could not keep up on the Phazer without bottoming but my rear cheapo shock was probably cause of that I now have Custom Axis for this year (mine is a standard with clicker fronts). Then again when we got back to truck he fell over and I was ready for another tanks worth. That is the biggest thing about the Phazer in comparo. You WILL ride more because you will want to!

I couldn't have said it better myself.
I have long been a fan of lightweight sleds (I still have two 'Pogo' Phazers: an '87 and an '90 Phazer II) and have always preferred the tradeoff for big power based on where we do the majority of our riding. After a brief stint with Arctic Cat ZR's (a 500 and a ZR440 Sno Pro) I succomb to the power wars and bought a MXZ700 and then later a Rev 600 HO SDI. When the new Phazer came along, I sold off the Doo 700 and haven't regretted it for one minute. After riding the REV back to back with the Phazer, it seems slow and unresponsive; almost truck like. Funny, but the REV which was the sled my wife and I fought over was now relegated to second string and neither of us wanted to ride it after riding the Phazer.
I may be different, but it's exactly what I want in a sled. Responsive, economical, quick and playful.

My Mtn. Lite is a riot. I have been pulling My hair out all summer second guessing My decision to buy a Nytro RTX over the Phazer RTX. Your going to love the Phazer terret. Every level rider can have a Fricken ball on a Phazer.

Find spots to race where you only get up to about 60mph or race 500cc or less 2smokes and you will be right in there.
