I ride Vermont. Mostly the NEK. I have ridden woodford a few times which wouldn't be much of a distance for you to get there. Trails in VT are not as wide open as Maine, but you have alot of diversity. It takes me 3-1/2 hours to get to northern vermont and the same for southern vermont. The NEK offers more options.
