Guys,
I'm thinking that this #2 plug is looking good. What are your thoughts?
The plug is from my '07 Apex GT with airbox/exhaust mods and PowerProgrammer and IgnitionModule with Ulmer's MAP.
Thanks

Not too bad, but on the verge of being lean.

How many miles on it since the change? It is tan, but, for me, the tip looks just a little hot. If you just made a change and the plug only has a few miles on it since the change, it could be a bit lean.

You need to do a long WOT run and shut it down quick to get a true reading.

I would also say that it is a lil on the lean side as the tips of the grounds are pretty white as well as the edges of the electrode .

With the engine warm, remove plugs, clean reinstall
do a WOT run for a good distance. Shut down engine asap, pull plugs emediately and check color.
Your plugs look lean to me

What does running this motor lean do? Will it overheat? Burn a valve? Melt a piston like on 2 strokes?
Mine where alot lighter than that and sled ran fine for 3 days in the Mtns.
Just wondering if I did any damage? How would one know?

its not as critical on a 4stroke as a 2. but, a lean mixture is not a friend of your exhaust valves.
