For you guys running risers on your vector or rage .How high of a riser can I put on with out longer cables?

There are articulating risers that would do it like Rox or Sportech, but mine are simply offset machined blocks made for motorcycles with 7/8" bars manufactured by Gen Mar Industries. I was intrigued when I saw an eBay auction, so I contacted the company. They fit nice with longer hardware. Kind of pricey, but they don't come loose or move around.

I like the looks of those .Do they have a web site?

It is http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/

I emailed them from the website.

I installed them backward for up and forward instead of up and rearward like they are designed to do on sport bikes. Due to the angle of the steering flange, the rise is greater than the 1" they advertise for the bikes. I had to purchase 2 M8-1.25x80 and 2 M8-1.25x50 stainless allen head cap screws to reach through the stock lower saddle.

Thanks for the help they look good ,but Like you say there kinda pricey. I might try a straight 2 ' riser first,as you can get them for about 20.00 dollars

They are pricey. My application was an R&D project for them, and I sent the company feedback and photos in exchange for product.

Straight risers are definitely the most economical. I have a straight riser setup that I don't use because I don't like the idea. The steering shaft already faces the rider at an angle, so the farther you raise the bars with a straight riser, the closer they become to the rider. This could cause you to sit even farther rearward than usual. Effects are probably somewhat minimal, but offset or articulating units do not have this issue. Just my .02.

Do you guys still use the handel bar pad, and if so do you have a photo with the riser installed and the pad in place.? THANKS

I know Tfin and I both have the stock pads zipped on the bars. I would like to rework the plugs on mine so I could omit the pad and just use a small black piece of conduit for the wires but haven't had the chance. It would offer a better line of vision for the gauge.

Curious what Kren did with his taller riser...

I had a powermadd 2" riser on.
Now I went with a 4" pivot riser it fit's just fine because you move the handlebars forward which gives you more slack.
