Curious what Kren did with his taller riser...

TFIN,
Did you have any trouble getting your ROX risers to stop rotating at all? I had to scar up my polished aluminum to get a tight fit. Also I noticed the extra 2" really works different muscles in your forearms. Was I hurting after 350+ miles in 2 days. But the added leverage was something else.

To be honest, I don't have a whole heck of a lot of miles on them....I got them during the end of last season. I did have to move them back and re-tighten them before the 30 miles I've only been able to put on so far this season. If they loosen up again, I'll try scarring them the way you did. Did you scar the bottom nubs of the risers (that part that rests in the original location of the bars, or the bars themselves?
Yes, I definately notice the use of different muscles in my arms and shoulders! But the added leverage is worth it until the new muscles toughen up.

I actually scared the polished nubs with some 120 open cloth emery paper and then wiped the nubs with loc tite to be sure. I put around 350 miles on them last weekend and havent' had a problem since. Forearms finally healed up too.

Yeah, I left the stock pad on mine as well. I dont like the look and would rather have the Rox pad or something similar but wont work obviously without some changes. It iss tough to see my gaugues and my low windshield is worthless but I think its a fair trade. With my Handguards it helps with the wind.
I just picked up a 05 RS RAGE and talked to the dealer about putting on Nytro bars and such he is going to get me all the part #'s of what is needed. He thinks the wiring is the same just have to pull up the slack. It is the same sled with a larger motor and better shocks and rear skid. Other than that the parts are interchangable. I'll post more info as I get it and Pics of what I've done.

Same engine in the Nytro as the Rage and Vector. The wiring at the bars must be different, as there are no exposed plugs on the Nytro as there is on the Rage and Vector when the pads is removed. I'm not saying that everything won't simply plug in, as they might, but the configuration must be different. The wiring between the contols and plugs on my Vector is not long enough to get the large plugs down below the shroud and out of sight without splicing in some more length of wire.
As far as the riser and bar is concerned, it can be easily done as there is another post from someone who did it. He said the cables and brake lines needed to be used off the Nytro so they'd reach.
