- I'm going to be replacing my track, and re-valving my shock soon, and am wondering just how long something like this should take me to do?

- I've obviously never done a track before, but I'm not a stranger to working on the sleds.

- Any tips and tricks that will help me out?

- All help is greatly appreciated!

Just got done replacing my track, drive bearing, y-pipes, new drive axle with nonslip driver and replaced handle bar monuts. I started last friday just got done today just have to put body parts back on. I used these forums alot saved me a few times. Take your time.

As apex 06 said... if you have all parts and pieces... and basic tooling, 3-4 hours without too many wobly pops... just take note where all spacers/gears are located in chain case, this causes most issues... and remember the set screws in speedo bearing.. other than this pretty straight forward.. I've done too many of these to count....

And the chain case cover can be a bear to get off.

On that note, I am just about ready to put my chaincase cover back on.....will the forks just slide into place as i slide the cover on, or do I need to do somthing to move them around????Thanks for any replies.

yep put on the cover about half way... look down thru the top you can see the forks... just use linkage arm to slide them into the goove on the gear... then with a few straight "taps" the cover should slide right in.... may take a few tries but i'm sure youll get it.

Thanks guys. Slide right in with forks over the top, and into groove.....went pretty easy. Thanks
