4401 miles for the season, 805 on the '06 Nytro, and 3596 on the '07 Apex, and both sleds ran great, I really like these Yamaha 4 strokes, best move I've made since I got into the sport.

Just over 1500 miles this year, but the season ended far earlier than any I can remember. Being the 4th season on my 07 GT with 6300 miles on it, it ended up being pretty close to average as far as total miles for the season, but far less than the 3500 I used to do when my boys weren't into hockey. If it hadnt ended as early as it did, I probably would have crested 2000 or more. The thing about this year is that the quality of the riding was way up. Almost every ride was really great. I can only recall one ride where the majority of trails we hit werent great. It left me really feeling shortchanged having it all end so early. The clubs around Tug Hill, by and large, were doing an outstading job especially considering the fact that most of New York had little to no snow forcing many riders into a relatively small area. High traffic and less snow that usual must have made grooming a challenge, but they really rose to the occasion. My hat is off to the volunteers who made it happen.
The best thing is that because the Apex has proven to be so durable and reliable and the fact that I havent been able to pile miles on it like I have my sleds in the past, I am able to continue to ride the thing for at least another season. Something I never was able to do with my 2 strokes in the past. They were done in 2 seasons. Two things you could not have made me believe 5 years ago: 1)That I would own AND enjoy a 4 stroke sled. and 2) That I would ever be able to put 4 and now 5 seasons on a single sled. Its a good thing, because I got sticker shock looking at the new Apex.

oh man, you have no idea. if my wife and I survive getting this last teenager out, we are dead serious about disapearing up there. hope to at least take a vacation out there soon to check it out. have known of a few that went out and stayed. I'll live in a cave as long as I can snowmobileAk Yammy said:sgilbert said:1600 on xtx and maybe 3 or 400 on others. probably a record for me, odd because we had terrible year and never went north. just really put my mind to it when we had snow, normally blow off riding to work, last few weeks, screw everybady and rode. still feel cheated, like $5/mile for the new sled. definitely more serious next year. moving to alaska if need be
C'mon up we have made trips to the mountains in May!!

1500+ miles is a record for me. We only did about 700 in Quebec since we were there right after the big rain. Believe it or not, I did more miles in MARYLAND. Of course western Md had a record over 260" this year.

940 lousy effing miles. The first three years with the Apex I averaged 3k. This winter in New England just bit the big one!

400 miles. This winter in Ontario was the worst I have ever seen. Last year 5 feet, this year we were lucky to break 1.5feet on winter. Never really got much snow after x-mas...
