Just out of curiosity has anyone had any belt problems? It was the one big question mark I had with the chassis given its track record. I ordered having faith in Yamaha clutches and that we wouldn't have a issue. Some of you guys have to be getting some miles on by now, what issues have you had if any?

Almost 400 miles and zero problems, belt looks good and wearing perfect.

Why do you think we will have belt problems ?

The chassis isn't giving cat the belt problems its the clutches and tcl !

Anyways no problems here !
Some cat guys put the big fin on there sleds and still blowing belts , one guy in 750 miles 7 belts

Yamaha implemented a variety of changes/mods to ensure belt and chain case durability. There's an aftermarket kit for the earlier AC Pro Cross sleds that essentially copies (or were they first?) what Yamaha did.

Was curious more than anything, I had faith or I wouldn't have ordered one. I too have read that cats latest fix isn't working for everyone. Find it amazing they can't get their poop in a group any quicker than this. Remember I can't ride, just getting as much information as I can....

500 miles. Zero problems with belt or other. My dealer, who sold a lot of Vipers reported 1 bad thumb warmer and 1 unit with a small coolant leak.

300 miles, no belt issues. I am noticing that my left foot get pretty warm when riding. The clutch area is vented right by the left foot so I'm assuming this is all normal. Any input on that? Only complaint I have is the sled darts like crazy to the point that I feel it's dangerous to ride. Adding the dual runners tonight so that will clear up that issue

I have noticed hot foot syndrome on left side while doing 30-35 MPH in 2 feet of lake effect powder.

Using Studboy 6" Deuce bars no darting yet but they just started grooming yesterday and I haven't ridden the groomed trails. Minimal push in corners with the Deuce.

Great to hear, you are boosted too correct?

Yes I am and like everybody says there won't be any problems with belts. I had around 7000 miles on my Nytro and believe it or not but one belt. And it was not stock. So belts won't be an issue....unless your clutch is not aligned correctly.

studroe you say you are darting. Do you have stock skis? Looking into some c&a razors instead of duallys.

staggered carbides fixed 95% of darting for me.
