Looking to stud my 2012 Vector. ( and I am new to the 4 stroke world)
The Woody's web site shows a minimum of 144.
I ran 96 on my Viper and was happy with the traction and the ability to kick the rear around a bit.
I ride Northern Wi. and the UP so ice is a concern.
What seems to be working out there?
Thanks

What length of track? I am running a 121 and currently have 96 installed but I am thinking of going to 144.
The 96 hook well for my type of riding but I think I might like 144 better?

I had 96 in my vector when I had it and it seemed to work just fine for the size of the sled. I had 144 in my apex and it worked fine and i now they recommend more. The key is being able to kick the rear end out like you said when you want to.

We run midwest wisconsin and norther wisconsin and I have an FX Nytro and have 96 up the middle and it is just right. My dad rides an 06 Nytro, so similar to a Vector and he also has 96 studs. Just enough to keep you stable on ice and not too much to kill the top end.

I run 96 down the middle on my GT. I also installed the woody's dually runners with 4" carbides. This thing handles like a dream. I run in northern wisconsin and all of the western UP. Absolutely no darting/nervousness in front end. A dream to ride, especially windy trails and long sweepers!

You should be fine with 96 up the middle
