My '08 Base Phazer seems to have more rear static sag then when new. It only has 600 miles from the first season. Everything is lubed and loose.

How much should I have?

This is a topic that keeps coming up.Opinions differ. In short make sure every pivot point is perfect and well cleaned and lubed. Then depending on your wieght and needs go from there.

My opinion is I want as much sag as possible to get my center of gravity as low as possible. While still having good coupling and suspension action. My theory is lower CG gives me better handling potential.

Now others want almost no sag and even put spring spacers in to reduce it.Okay.But then why does the same company producing these spacers make a Triple rate Zero Preload front spring kit which lowers your front end?

Best bet is to play with it and try to find what you like. Here is a really good article explaining it and even though for bikes the methods are valid other than our coupling needs to be considered.
