I removed tunnel and heat exchanger protectors, kept 9 tooth and stock gearing on my Attak. Put a 1.75 track on and had a ball in the deep stuff, but lost all kinds of top end. Now have a Cobra which I will stick on next month.

Im putting on a 136" x 2" inch challenger on my APEX RTX with a 136" tunnel and rail extension. I am using 8 tooth Extroverts. I will most likely cut it down to 1.75"....but I figure with the 22 top gear it has, I should still have pletny of power. These things are torque monsters! lol
catchmeifucan: Did you loose any bottom/mid range??? Also, what exactly did you feel on top that you lost so bad? MPH, acceleration?
