I searched, trust me, but came up with nothing.

My filter is quite dirty. I'm not sure what to clean it with and do I have to re-oil it???

Bring it into the house, fill up the kitchen sink with warm water & dish detergent. Add more soap as needed if it's really bad.

Wash/scrub gently with your hands. Rinse under clean water. Carefully squeeze what water you can out of it & let it sit for a day to air dry.

No, they don't get oiled. The crankcase breather pukes enough blow-by & oil on it as it is.

Sounds good..except for the kitchen sink!! My wife would be the next Lorena Bobbitt and I'd be the victim!!

That was how my wife was when she found my clutches in the dish washer.

Well guys, I must have one very good wife. I've washed many ATV, cycle, & sled filters in the kitchen sink, she never even questioned me.

Never thought about using the dishwasher for more than dishes though.

Thanks for the grand idea!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I used to get "barked" at for having parts in the sink. Now i'm divorced, and have a whole room completely filled with snowmobile parts. So the moral of the story is; clean your parts good, but clean your wifes' sink better...
