How to wire a heated visor?

What is the best way to wire a heated visor to my wifes phazer? dont really want to go straight on the battery as it will be live all the time! How do you guys do it?

I prefer to go straight to the battery, that way she wont fog up at trail stops (as long as she stays plugged in)..... i bought the skidoo plug and mounted it to the dash plastic, very easy install, just fish the wire through over to the batters, put in a little inline fuse and ur done..... (bad part is skidoo dealer hosed me for 30 bucks for the connector, but is is nice, leaves a clean plug on the dash with a cover)

I wired mine into the blue/brown wire going to the left side handlebar; I believe it's the light switch. Soldered it in and it works great. Ground to the riser bolt.

This is the slickest way I've seen to do it. You can wire the lighter socket to be on continuously or switched with the key, and use a splitter for other equipment.
