How trailable are the turbos????????

30? Really?
Well damn.. there goes my trip to Canada :(
How much is a speeding ticket and how often do people get caught?

30MPH is "LEGAL" but depending on where you go will determine what speed you can ride. Where we go we are lucky if we see 10 selds a day. My buddy got a ticket near Parry Sound 2 weeks ago...$110 CDN is the fine no matter how fast you are travelling.

It is totally trailable. Unless you do high speed wide open running doing 80-90 mph all day, you hardlly use it. even at wide open riding I am on 3 to 4 $ more per fillup than the regular RX-1's. That's cause I run premium all the time and the burm regular. For regular fuel running you can put a boost controller on and run at 6-7lb boost on regular safley. Warm weather sometimes makes it hard to start, but it starts reguardless. This is due mostly to the fuel in the carb float bowl that boils from the heat once shut off. This should not be an issue once you install a carb coolent shut off switch. This should not be an issue at all, with the new fuel injection motor. Hopes this helps you out. I have a MCX rear mount unit and have over 4000 miles on it and no problems at all with motor. ;)! :4STroke:

I wouldn't be surprized if you're less likely to get a ticket in Ontario than most other areas.

In 27 years of sledding I've never had a ticket yet (but the cops are apparently cracking down more these days).

Because the speed limit is set rediculously low and everyone (OFSC) is too afraid of lawsuites to increase it, only areas where there is a good reason to control speeding (near a town, down a street in front of houses, etc.) are really enforced.

Up in Northern Ontario there are supposedly a limited few wide open areas that are enforced, but around here (and most of Ontario) if you're riding at a "safe" speed or the trail is wide open and straight, you can "get away" with whatever speed you are in good control of the sled at.

It's hard to say what the threshold is, but I driven past cops at 70 mph on trails accross open fields and they've just nodded. My RX-1 sees lots of WOT (and you know how fast they'll go on a long straightaway).

70 MPH at Turbo speed relates to "jack" (3-4 lbs) at boost. Basically nothing.
I wouldn't be afraid to ride 400 miles at that boost level ALL DAY and neither would most other turbo guys. Unless your fuel is goofer Piss.
