Shot out to Dave and crew at Hurricane Performance. We had them build a stroker Apex race motor for our H&H Performance Nypex project 3 years ago. Rock solid performance and big smoke every pass. We won TUT ice drags and Anchor Bay Bash 660' ice drags double entering our Nypex lake racer sled in Outlaw and Lakeracer classes. Taking a stock chassis sled deep into the 4.60's is challenging to say the least. Double entering your sled means back to back racing, at 600 hp+ its absolutely hard on equipment. Engine and EMS never missed a beat in over 150 passes! Picked up two tenths over last year and are goal next year is to be running low 4.50's with a stock chassis sled. Thanks Hurricane Performance!!

It has been good to work with Howard and the team at H&H Performance. We are proud of the Hurricane Power that we offer and I and thankful to Chris and Howard for making a good power package even better with there tuning skills

Impressive.... And I thought 500 hp was crazy in my 3400 lb car.... Must be an insane ride!
That's what....1 lb per horse give or take ?

Yeeehaaaa to Yamaha Power brought to us by Hurricane Performance :)

Sled weighs 755#s in race trim with the 205# owner riding it as he always does (sled was built for the lake racer class)! The off season will bring a larger turbo, injectors and fuel pump. The 58\58 Precision turbo is running out of effecient air. We can go faster with the current set-up, if the right ice conditions are there and we can bring the power in earlier. Currently its not making full power until 1.4 seconds into the run via timed boost control. Generally we like to see it at the .8-1 second zone if possible as this builds excellent e.t.'s. Not too many sleds going to drive around this one on the big end, thats for sure!
