I have had the pleasure once again to work with Dave on completing my RX1. This winter my sled ran flawlessly all season long,trail riding and on the lake. The long term goal was to venture into the 4 stroke world with a big turbo. I had countless phone conversations with Dave to plan the process & steps we would take for completing my goal of 500 available hp. It was very important to me to build a sled that was reliable without having to worry about breaking blocks or rebuilding after every race weekend. Dave's hard work and expertise which involved long days and 3 weekends finally paid off. The help and dedication I received from Dave was second to none. The end result turned out to be the race sled that I have been dreaming about. This blue rocket produced 508 hp,300 ftlbs of torque at 30 lbs of boost. Keep in mind this is with stock stroke and ignition for now. This is one happy & pleased customer. Thank you again Dave & staff at Hurricane Performance for all your help and hard work building this awesome race motor. Fabricating the header, liquid / air inner cooler was no easy task. It sure was a lot of fun & hard work but your hospitality was greatly appreciated and Elaine's Hurricane burger and fries was out of this world. I can hardly wait for you to complete your Proline project so we can rip up some asphalt & enjoy some forty creek. For anyone looking for reliable hp for the track or trail Dave is the person to contact for all your performance needs. Thank you Doug Swartz;

congradulations on the build. im wondering did you stay with carburation or did you go efi. im doing the same thing and still debating one carbs or efi.

I still have the carbs. for now, I might go with Dave's stand alone in the future.

Its our business to make fast sleds and big HP engines and we really like what we do.Along the way we have built valued relationships with several serious racers and I enjoy working with all of them to get there sleds down the track with ample power and a high degree of durability.
I had the good fortune of meeting Doug at the NBSSR Radar Runs a few years ago and forged a friendship with him that I will value in the future.So when Doug asked if we could work together to build him a killer sled,I was all over that.Together,we worked to perfect his project and I enjoyed every miniute of the time spent together.I know that Doug is a smart guy and he will have success with his racing.
I am working on my new Hurricane Race sled and should have it completed in the next 2or3 weeks.Then I'm coming to play with you Doug.You better put Mike on a diet.L

That's great power! Any way to post the dyno graph?

here you go Zeb

Thanks! X3 on the torque. Can I ask what turbo was used? If it's top secret I understand. :yam:

Great build :-)
