hyfax saver wheels?

where are you having the problem with slider wear?

might just be a set-up problem. all mine was.

Hyfax

Well I installed a new set of hyfax, took sled out on ice
For 1 hour an hyfax were down to less than half life, seems like both of them pretty much the hole length , was told if I loosen track an ad those bigger wheels I'll b fine? What do u think

install 135mm ski doo wheels on the two in front, both sides 4 total, (yamaha wheels are 130mm) install new hyfax, kimplex type. They are a little thicker that OEM, problem solved, I have 2 seasons on the same hyfax, over 14000 miles on sled total, this is the trick.

no my rails didn't break or bend.

130mm wheels--ZERO hyfax 3.5 mm difference
135mm wheels--New hyfax 2mm difference

IT WORKS!!!

just keep an eye on it. they tend to wear really fast to a point just above the wear line and then stop. seem to stay there forever as i ran my last set 3 seasons before i changed them. rule of thumb is if the 12mm wrench in the kit does not fit over the sliders from the side, they are still good.

i melted my 1st set off in less than 500km in fresh snow, no ice running. mine was a setting problem with the rear skid that i fixed.
