On my 04 Warrior after installing new track (Ripsaw), drive axle, Hyfax etc.. and putting 650 miles on it in Maine (Lots of snow)
I noticed the Hyfax wearing mainly between the second set of Idler wheels and the rear inside set. (The long span in the middle without wheels)
I noticed melted plastic on the track clips and on the rubber of the track
(closed window).
I did not install the Anti- Wear pads on this track and I was thinking about adding another set of OEM idler wheels as far back as possible to possibly help eliminate this "AREA OF WEAR"
Anyone ever do this?

I added a set on my Vector. Their the small wheels, but they do the job.

Exactly where did you mount them?

Hey Bob,
This what your lookin' for?
note: I took all those cheap factory wheels out like many do...They fail quick - and promote slide wear. I used Artic Cat(to preserve the look of stock) wheels with a 5.350" diameter.
I have used this very successfully in the past! This sled is next to new so haven't had a chance to test on this one yet..
I want to add another small set just after the front large wheels and just before the snubber - then I'll be able to run on ice for ever without any worries! I added the rear cooler as well...My next move is a bit of water wetter(Red Line) to help assure my motor never runs hot...
Then I should be set up to pretty much endure anything nature throws at me!LOL
