well with every one getting some miles on there hygear stuff what are your set ups? has any one tried removing all the spacers on there middle springs on there triple rates if so how did she ride?? snirt

Here is my set up. I weigh about 220 lbs full gear.

Tripple rate springs on the front skis set at Hyger specs w 5mm preload, 6.9 pilot skis 6 " shaper bars in the middle, no carbides on the out side. Front ski shock compression clickers set 4 turns in from full soft. Rebound clickers set 8 turns in from full soft.

FR suspension spring is stock, haven't installed the dual rate spring yet. Loosened the FR spring approx. 25 quarter turns from the factory.

RR suspension shock. Full loose on the clicker and softest tortion spring setting.

Rear transfer nuts I turned in 3 full turns from factory to reduce the ski lift.

How does your skid behave in the stutter bumps? I took majority of the transfer out of the rear skid and still uncomfortable in medium size stutter bumps. I am currently running my center shock spring at 1/8" preload, rear shock on full soft with Hygear spacers and Stiffest torsion setting.

I have the triple rates up front, torsion spring spacer and 6.9 pilots with 6"shapers down the center and 4" stockers on the outside. All triple rate spacers are in place and front preload set IAW hygear specs (I think it was 10mm preload) front compression and rebound set to center (if 20 clicks it's set at 10). Center shock (front of rear skid) preload set at 10MM, torsion preload one side at medium and the other at hard, weight transfer set to minimum, rear compression set to center, and limiter strap in stock hole. I wanted to put some miles on before I started playing with complession rebound and limiter. I now have about 300 miles on this set-up and I am still not 100% happy. The ride is better with the triple rates ...stutters don't feel like a jack hammer in the bars and your feet now stay in the wells! Handling is improved but, still not what I want it to be. It corners flatter but still has to much inside ski lift for my me.
I am debating what to do next. Some have taken out the 1/2 spacer on the triple rates to lower the front end but, hygear says your ride quality will suffer if you do that. Then the next option would be shorten the limiter strap one hole and put more ski pressure on ... this would also effect ride quality some??? I don't really know where to go from here but, next trip I will probably try the limiter one hole.

The sled feels pretty good in the stutters. Not too bad.

How many turns did you turn in your transfer nuts. I did 3 full turns on mine to reduce weight transfer. My rear tortion springs are on the softest and my FR supension spring is almost loose in the adjusters. I also turned in the rear shock compression nut 2 clicks from the softest.

I guess it depends on what you want your sled to do but, if you soften the rear won't that give you less ski pressure and make it handle worse?
