Hyper chip---any one tried it?

There are so called "Hyper Chips" or "Genisis Chip" for sale on e-bay for Yamaha 4 strokes. Claims to change fuel settings.
Any one tried one of these?
Sounds like it automatically does what a GEMS controller does.

Looks like the same one they sell for cars. Open it up and all there is a a resistor! A box with only two wires.... come on!

I bought one...it does the resistor trick...that does work in some applications....SUZUKI guys do this all the time.

Yes, true....I meant Hyabusa's and GSXR's.
