I just wanted to put that out there.

It has caused me alot of head scratching and late nights in the garage, but I just had a GREAT RIDE. Its puts a smile on my face every time I squeeze the throttle.

I'm not so worried about the subframes, ball joints, hand warmers or how I can't get a fuel controller to work.

Can't wait to go out again tomorrow. :4STroke:

Most of the trails by my house are groomed and open. This week we got between 2-3 feet of snow. Other areas got as much as 5+ feet. It was almost too much to ride, but it is starting to pack down nice now. 300kms plus so far and I hope to double that this weekend.

Coming from CAT and DOO life, it is amazing what those guys are missing! Sooner or later they will get it!!

Hey how many km's of trails are open in barrie? Its gettin warm down here is it gonna stay?

I'm not too sure. Barrie north to Elmvale and west to Wasaga beach and Collingwood is open. alot more is groomed but not open.

sweeeeet.... They say we are going to get 10 to 14 tonight here so that will be good going out to ride if we get that , can't wait

I was working on a friends skidoo last night and was reminded of how offensive the smoke and high pitched clanging of a 2 stroke can be.

Had to fire up my nytro just to calm my nerves. Man I love that motor!

I do love my nytro. I smile every time I look at it and ride it. I also curse everytime I look at how much I spent on it, but I'm fussy enough that I'd probably spend money on any sled that I had.

I also didn't really notice the yamaha "build" quaility until I had to go through the polaris I bought for my girlfriend, it was noticeably better.

Love the Nytro. Fun to throw around in the woods and love to boondock as it is much lighter than the Apex. Super quick and love the forward position ride! Does take some work to get it dialed in for your type of riding but once you do, it is a ball!

Got out for my first ride and it was awsome. I now have 26km on it but it was the best handling ride I've had in a long time. My buddy has a 2011 M8 Ltd and he even said the Nytro was a nicer handling machine. If it wasn't so frickin cold I would still be out there. Can't wait till it warms up so I can break this puppy in and ride her the way she was meant to be riden!!! :die :die :yam:

I'll tell you what their not missing. About a $1,500 to get the shocks/skis/bushings right. They are missing about 50lbs of ice on their tunnel though.

They all have issues, I've probably spent more on my Nytro in 4,500 miles than my buddy has on his F6 in 10,500 miles. Yes his has broke parts, and worn through things, and there are designs that make you wonder what Cat was thinking. However the calibration of suspension both front and rear is so superior it's not even funny.

I had an F6, don't even get me started as a comparison to the Nytro. I also had the F8. I agree the suspension requires a lot of dialing in, but the overall reliability isn't even close. I got sick off breaking down in the UP 50 miles from the nearest town! Sorry you have not had the same experience me and all my buddies have. All DOO and CAT transfers....
;)!

Yup, that's how it goes. Some have nothing but problems, some no problems. His F6 has 10,600+ Original motor. as I said he has broken things but I have to say he's never been towed, other than when the stud took out the heat exchanger, which can happen to any sled. I still gave him crap for the tow though.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Nytro. It's just this time of year where your waiting and paying for over priced OEM things. Once I get out there and get some miles on, I'm sure the "Hate" part of the Love/Hate relationship will level back down. It's mostly just the frustration that they have sooo much potential, but things get downgraded for whatever reason, well financial reasons I assume.

Need to ride!!! :o| :o| :o|
