Hey guys,
We finally got some snow, so I was able to actually get on the '06 Nytro and take it for a burn down the road.......and yes, I had problems. The sled will start and idol great, and initially it ran fine, but after a couple of minutes I had a very BRUTAL bog. I almost had to push the sled up the driveway. I could shut it off for a couple of minutes, re-start, and things were cool for a short period ot time. I need to be pointed in the right direction. Have I fouled one, or multiple plugs? The infamous TORS acting up? I know for a fact that the carbs are spotless, so I am not really heading in that direction. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know how to by-pass the TORS for diagnostic purposes? This is my first four stroke Yammie. I really hate to call my dealer and tell them to come get the sled because other than myself, my father is the ONLY person I will let wrench on anything I hold dear to my heart. I'm a little bummed about the first expereience with my first four stroke, but I know from years with two strokes that stuff happens. I still love my yammie. Anyone who could point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Stubby

Well you are on the right path with your thinking. The plugs could be fouled if the choke was left on to long. Have you started your sled alot without riding it? chances are if you did this it could be the plugs. It could also be the tors. You unplug it under the handle bar pad but i am not sure on a nitro because it really does not have a handle bar pad. It a round connection about the size of ball point pen, and about 2 inches long. You can follow the wires that lead from your kill button housing.

The connector should be in that rubber wiring sheath above the valve cover on a Nytro. However, if it is a TORS issue, there shouls be an engine light and a cose flashing. Code 84 I think.
plugs for shure.I fouled a set once.In 10,000ft elevation with the stock jetting.
