Iwent for a ride in Indian River Saturday. The trails were icy with some snow on them. Never got into any bumps, but i wanted to know more about how it turned on the trails. I already figure it can handle the bumps well. After i got off the 144 i jumped right on the 121 Nitro. If you were on perfectly flat trails like i was the 121 is the omly way to go. The 144 did feel more stable but it was not as quick as the 121. The 121 you could flick it around with a lot more ease. The 121 also felt like it was a lot quicker on the strait of ways. This could have been due to the icy conditions also. We were spinning all over the place on the first part of the ride. The trail conditions changed a little from machine to machine. After the 121 i jumped onto a Phaser. This machine was a riot to ride but the speed just was'nt there. If you rode on tight trails all the time this might be the best machine to get. I favor the power a little bit more. If i am to buy a new machine this fall the XTX is what i will go with, do to i do a lot of boon doggling and off trail riding. I have also thrown around getting a 08 121 left over and changing it to a 136. This is depending on what price i can get the 136 for.
