Yamaha had a small showing at a hotel in Denver yesterday (Wed 3/7) with all the new sleds (short and long tracks). The Nytro MTX seems to me to be all it's cracked up to be, a very sharp sled indeed. I sort of expected the sleds to be 'roped-off' and some guy standing there saying 'step back, sir', but I was able to crawl all over these sleds and I even think some guys who brought some scales were even allowed to weigh it (Snowest Fourm, Yamaha section). I did an informal weigh-in by lifting the front and rear ends and I'd say the rear is about the same as an Apex but the front was at least 30-40 pounds lighter than the Apex sitting next to it. To top it all off, this sled seems well-built, in typical Yamaha style. Very Cool Sled!!

P.S. And they had COOKIES!!

I was there also. Cody (yamaha demo guy) will have 3 mtx's for demo's in the next few weeks. Last year they only had 1 phazer.

Sweet sled but the price is outta my range.
