After I've been riding for a half hour or so I can start to slightly smell chaincase oil, there is none visibly leaking anywhere. If I do a hard climb or ride powder it get's worse... at the same time my I'm getting brake fade(lever pulls almost to the bar and has to be pumped a bit) is something heating up somehow? chaint to tight? any ideas?

Change the oil in the case(Amsoil75/90w) and bleed your brakes with new fluid.

Got this problem figured out today incase anyone else runs into it... while riding in deep powder(which we've had here all season) the brake lever gets clogged with snow then packs up and gets stuck partway on, there for heating the disc right up causing brake fade and transfering the heat to the chaincase, forced the lever out a few times today to get rid of the ice pack and had no more issues... pretty sure that was the problem
