I started the install tonight. I pretty much removed everything required for the job. Things to note:
oil drain on block is extremely tight
the oil filter also extremely tight
buy new exhaust doughnuts, You can get them out of the stock exhaust without damaging the doughnuts by applying heat but the copper braided section of them gets stretched and out of shape from pulling on it with needle nose pliers, this will be a hinderance when trying to slide the two into one manifold on, anyone else come across this? I need to get this done tomorrow (radar runs sunday at the Chain of Lakes)! They should include new doughnuts in the kit. It was a waste of time pulling the old ones and trying to make them work.
Now that everything is removed, I hope the rest will go smooth (I know getting the two into one pipe on is going to be a bitch)
