I'm looking for some ice scratchers for my sled. I have a short track, but with a 1.75 lug, so I'll be putting some strachers on this winter. I'm wondering if I should buy ski mounted ones, or rail mounted ones. Can I even mount them on a 121 rail? I'm leaning to the ski mounted kind, I just see those working better, as the front of the rail would get spray too, not just the back. So if you have some, and love em, post up a link and I'll check em out.

Thanks.

i had a set on my 2001 sx500r that where rail mounted. never did have to use them after i mounted them but they where nice. mine where maximum performance ones but they are out of buisiness now.

Ok, thanks. Is there no body else?! I thought this site would give me the best responce. Seeing as there's so many huge mod sled owners on here. But whatever. Thanks maim

powderpounder- I run the "cooling fins" on my simmons skis and they work very well. I have had no issues. EJT on the attack forum is a sponser here and made a similar contraption last season with great results. This year he is making some slight changes to them to improve their performance. I cant remember what he was selling them for, but I will let him know to make a post on this thread. hope this helps.

see the other thread on this RX forum under "snow kickers" those are what I am speaking of. good luck
