I am going to put scratchers on my Attak for lubrication and cooling should I be concentrating on my
track area or the skis.

I have a pair of the ski-z ski mounted scratchers to try for this winter. I have used the running board mounted type until now, have had good results with them! Not sure how these will work but I'm going to give them a try! Anybody else try these?

STILLCRP, I also have an attak and have always wondered where to attach the slidekicks on the skid, so I am going to attach them to the mountain skis. I am thinking the mountain skis will work even better than the stock ones because they have that wing on the top side that will hide the mounting of the scratcher and also allow for drilling a hole to lift the scratcher up and put the tip in when not needed. I am thinking the skimount would direct way more snow into the track than if it was on the skid.
Radianguy, I have not tried the Ski-z's but they look like they will work well and for the price, I would think they would be fairly tough. The only drawback, I could see, is that they are not simple just to lift up if you had to run gravel, but I suppose that they would be quick to just unscrew.
