If I didn't ride Yami

I agree Leeko. I have checked out their web site and sled reviews, and their sled looks impressive. They seem to be a company run by engineers and snowmobile enthusiasts, rather than by marketing and conservative types. I really think (and hope) they will make it. Not too crazy about their twin engine sleds because I prefer a triple, but their upcoming 4-stroke looks pretty sweet.

Since you saw the sled in person, would those headlights really work at night?

I thought the chassis looked awesome, especially the rear suspension. I wouldn't want the twin either. I think those light are supposed to be bright, but I don't know much about them.

I have to agree if I were to jump ship redline would be the way I would jump.Should see some on the trails this winter. We shall see how good they are. That rear suspension is awsome. Mike

I attempted to buy one , but dealers near me are nonexistant and the one i did find wanted 12,500 plus shipping US dollars of course!!

They dont have any parts dealership eather!

Valid points Welt. Being on the "bleeding edge" does have several downsides. I would imagine once they get some production models out there, the prices will go down. I saw there are a couple of dealers in Twin Cities area now, so hopefully they will get their parts inventory built up and service technician's trained. It is still too early to predict Redline's outcome, but I like the direction they are headed.

DOnt count on the price coming down!!

Unless you have a porshe in your garage , that is who they want to cater to.

I wouldnt expect to see many of them!! Maybe rich doctors !!

I really do want one!! :D

If you add up all the mods that many do to there sleds that price is really not that unreasonable. The sled has the best of everything and its limited production. You would be suprised how much most guys spend if you added up all the mods. M10's, ohlins, new tracks, ski's, clutch kits, pipes, turbos, etc. It is just easier to swallow when you do little by little.

isn`t that the truth

It was announced yesterday that the Redline sleds are going to built in Fargo, ND. Not sure how they are going to be able to get geared up quickly enough to get them built for this year, but they say they are. So you might see one at some point during the year.
