If you have ECP/Filter kit

I did, and he's full of crap! Didn't Freddie say that he likes to add more fuel, not take it away?

The only thing that caught my attention was changing the needle clip, and turning the pilots out to 2.5 durring the summer/fall. What was your reasoning behind that - or did I answer my own question?

Also, did he ever say HOW the engine died (no oil, over heated, thrown rod, etc...)???

Well if Yamaha is looking into it, and they cover it under warranty, he's all set. If not, then it has no warranty and that's the end of it. Period. Don't worry about a court case unless he has a piece of paper signed by you which says you will personally extend Yamaha's warranty period and cover all costs for "x" amount of time. A used sled is just that.. used. They can blow up any time, we all know this.

Why start two threads on the same subject. It is not going to give you more coverage and will end up in the dog pile causing more work for the mods. People have to learn not to double or triple their threads on the same subject.

First I moved the needles and adjusted air/fuel mixture because a good portion of the posts on here recommend that. I figured I may get even better performance out of the RX1. I started two threads because I rarely go into the ECP thread unless I am looking for an answer about ECP, but most that own an RX1 come to this section. I did say to respond in the other thread and provided a link. I figured people would click on the link read the post and reply in the ECP section. He didn't indicate why he thought the motor was fried other than the turbo manufacturer said the filters caused it.
