Ign module worth it?

The ignition module will mostly gain you in the top end (9000 rpm & up). See this old post by dirkdiggler about his testing with the Ignition Module setup by us and a combination of mods.

Thanks for the info alan. I probably end up buy a couple from ya. What do u think of the autotune feature? Does it work better than the pc3 or pcv? Will the clutches hold up to 9700 rpms? Thanks!!!

I have pc3 and ingnition mod, my sled is about 10mph faster without them.. not very happy about it cuz i got $900 worth of nothing..

For phazer?

yup....

That's weird. Try messing with your clutches?

yep, hitting peak rpm and i have the Ulmer clutch kit, my clutches are clean, removed a shim out of the 2ndary, and i have a good belt about 800mi on it... im not saying that they r not worth it.. just me and my girl have the same exact sleds, same exact mods except i have a pc3 and ignition module.. when we drag race she beats me everytime, out of the hole and just pulls away.. she hits 96mph on the dream-o-meter and i could only hit 77mph.. i always thought it was cuz she is about 60lbs lighter than me, so we switched sleds..i about flipped hers over backwards, actually bent the snowflap mount, grabbed a hand full of break and pinned it again and blew by her.. so 2 weeks ago pulled the pc3 and ignition off and sled is a ton faster.. hit 91mph on a straight and beat her in a drag race.. now i did have a problem last season with the pc3 and ignition mod, got new ones under warranty.. so i might b having the same problems again.. im going to send them in and get new ones... i am good friends with Aaron at Excell and he agrees there is something going on with it...or maybe min was made on friday and hers was made on monday..lol..who knows.. i do know he has alot of them on nytros and says they are a deff performance increase... so up to you bro.. this is just what i have had going on with my sled.. :o|

Something isn't right with your sled.

its deff not the sled, its the pc3 and/or ignition module...we are working on it.. but its the 2nd season in a row with problems with the dyno jet products.. so if i would know what i know now would i have bought them????? i dont think so.... but now i got them and its just the hastle of trying to figure it out,, load in a new map,, take it out for a spin seems fine, go out for a 100mile ride and i can only get in the 70mph range.. sucks.. get beat by a bunch of stock phazers when i got 3 grand in mods doesnt make me to happy either..

I work in the Harley Davidson industry and we remove atleast a dozen power comanders a year for failure, unfortunatley when they go on our bikes they also take the ECM with them. I want to get more power out of my nytro but am so hesitant to put one on just from the past experience I have had with them. Good luck to you I hope they can get you squared away.
