Sorry,my bad on the 2014. I've got tuners stuck in my head and forgat that they were new to the 2015's. I know some are running the offset duals runners with good success. No dart and good cornering. Shagman can tell you what he is running for carbides on those skis if you ask him. He has an XTX, but it has the same skis as your LTX and he can turn very well with little steering effort.Hey guys, it's a 2014. The skis are single runner with some sort of "ski saver" mounted on them. The sled does not dart at all and very easy to turn compared to my brothers 2015. I see new skis and a suspension re-valve in the off season. Currently the rear suspension springs and coupler block settings are full soft. I will look at the limiter strap and FTS spring setting next weekend. Over all, the sled will be a keeper and I am happy with it. It just has a couple bugs to be worked out that's all.

I feel the "push" is caused by the rear suspension being too stiff and not allowing weight to transfer front to back and vise-versa. If I tap the brakes forcing the weight to transfer (before or during a turn) it seems the skis bite a little better.
My energy and $$ will be put into new skis and suspension. Does anybody know a reliable place where a guy can get his shocks rebuilt and revalved in Michigan?

Nice sled happy safe sledding. From eastern Ontario, CanadaWell, after a 8 year retirement from the sport, I decided to make a come back. After doing a little research and looking over my brothers new 2015 Viper I came to the conclusion this is the sled for me (last sled owned was a 2006 Apex). I decided to go used to save some $$$ (wife's suggestion) and found this beauty on Craigslist. I borrowed a friends trailer, skipped work Friday (wife too) and made the road trip to Wisconsin from Michigan to pick it up. Needing riding gear also, I bought all new FXR riding gear at 50% off. Here it is....2014 SR Viper LTX SEView attachment 106647

You may want to get snow trackers as they tend to dart a bit on the trail. Unless you have them already!I could hardly sleep last night. Too stoked!!!
I was undecided on a XTX vs. LTX, praying to the man above that I made the right decision. Too late to look back now. LOL! In the future I will more than likely get new skis and 1 1/2 inch track (along with some suspension work) to help off trail. My brother has a stock 2015 XTX for comparison. Another pic........

50° and other stuff going on prevented a quick ride. The roads and trails are gone here. Put away the gear, cleaned up the sled, and pushed it into the corner. Planning on summer mods and a big trip to Canada next winter.
