Hi guys,
I'm a Michigander and new to this site. Any help from you guys that "know" is appreciated. I got sick of engine problems with 2 strokes, and bought a low mile Attak last winter.
Its been great, but when the trails are really pounded out, it takes a beating. I"m a very aggressive rider and I'm worried about breaking my rear suspension.
I've done a lot of reading on this site, and it appears that there are 3 ways to go with this:
1.) Get a 2008 or later RTX front arm for the rear suspension. Questions: Do I need to replace more than this to make the stock suspension stronger? And will the GT shock still work with the RTX arm?
2.) Get a Polaris EDGE and extend to 136 and fit it with clicker shocks. I want to retain the top speed, so that eliminates the Pro-X and IQ rear suspensions.
3.) what I think that I really need, is a Zx2 Boivin rear suspension that has 136 extensions on it. My sled is blue, so a blue suspension is my preference (and I"ll pay a little more for a blue one), but black is OK too.
Do any of you guys have a suspension that you are finally willing to part with? Maybe some of you guys that have upgraded to newer sleds?
Thanks for your time. -Jeff
