Just thought I would post a little helpful information for those who will be attending the ride, especially for anyone who may be coming in Tuesday Evening. The Budget Inn is in Mapledale about 10 miles North on Utica on Rt. 12, About 1/4 mile past the Yellow caution light on the right hand side. If you want to get to the main trail, Go out the driveway straight across rt. 12 into the parking lot of Hudons snowmobile shop, continue past the left side of the shop out the back into an open area, you should then see some tracks that lead back to the main trail that is about 200 yds behide Hudons. Go right on the main trail and this will enable you to get most anywhere in the area. As far as restaraunts go: Great place for lunch or breakfast is a bowling alley just south of the Hotel on the opposite side of rt, 12. You can drive your car or snowmobile there. To get there by snowmobile turn left on the main trail and it will be just a couple hundred yds. down the trail. Just north of the Hotel on the same side is an Italian restaraunt called Nortrhern Villa, less then 300ft. from the hotel. They have great food. Serve dinner, but I,m not sure about lunch. Another great place for Breakfast or lunch is the "Sweet Basil located on main street in Barneveld about 1 mile from the Hotel. Best to take your vehicle there. Hope this helps. Will see some of you on the 25th at 9:00 AM, others we will see about 12:30 for lunch, still others we will hook up with Wed. morning at 8:00 AM. Hope this helps somebody.

BBW WHAT TIME ARE THEY LEAVING ON THURSDAY SO I KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO LEAVE HOME. YOU STARTING AT 8.00 OR 9.00 ALSO WHAT TIME DO YOU THINK THE RIDE WILL BE OVER DAY. LET ME KNOW THATNKS
BBW, we are leaving from the hotel at those times, right?
We will be leaving Wed. morning at 9:00 AM. There were a couple of people who couldn't make it to 12:30 PM on Wed. so we were going to come back and have lunch and pick them up. On Thursday we will be leaving at 8:30 AM. We will try to be back to Mapledale by 6:00 PM on Thurs, so If someone wants to go to the Yamaha Show in Syracuse Thursday evening, they would have time. If anyone is just coming in for the Thursday ride it is best to park in the Bowling alleys parking lot on the North side. A lot of trailers park here. As stated in first post, the bowling alley is located on the west side of route 12 about 1/4 mile past the caution light, a little bit south of the Budgat Inn. I will make sure We check the parking lot before we ride on Thursday morning.
