Okay, I installed my oilites and now I am putting my a-arms back on. When I tighten the nut on the bulkhead bolts the nut and washer do not touch the bulkhead and the bolt just spins loosely. The nut is tight at the end of the bolt only (where the threads meet the larger diameter of the bolt). Is it okay just to leave it like that? Should I find a washer that properly fits the head of the bolt to suck in the thread a little bit so the nut tightens up against the bulkhead? I don't recall the long bolts being loose like that when I took it apart.

I put the oilites in with the flange on the outside of the bulkhead as per instructions.

That is normal. The "A" arm bolts are shoulder bolts. Think of it as a hinge pin. You should not put end pressure on the "A" arm.

I took the slop out of mine with some very thin spacers. I could hear the A-Arm slapping around against the blukhead, occasionally. I also used spacers in between the A-Arm and the bulk head. It made the suspension much quieter on the chatter bumps. You can use the old plastic spacers you take out and sand off the lips and sand on them to make them the right thickness, etc. too. If you wore the old ones out, the new ones are cheap and sand down just as easily. You do not want the A-Arms tight. Just very little slop. Or, ... you can live with the slop. It just wears out the bushings maybe a little faster.
