i bought a 8" wheel kit for my 08 apex ltx gt from a guy that came from a 09 ltx gt. i can't figure out how the thing goes on my sled. i called the guy who sold it to me and he said there is no other parts besides the parts he gave me.
does anyone have any pic's or instructions on installing an offset axles for 4 8" wheel kit?

I just sold one, the rails it came off had the stock adjusters removed as well as the brackets that rivet on the side. just center punch them and drill the heads off, then drive them through with a punch. They then had polaris style adjuster blocks that bolted to the rail in front of the axle. Offsets suck to adjust. you need to assemble everything but leave it loose. Then adjust the track, remove the outer wheels so you can tighten the axle down, then install the outer wheels.
they are a pain but they look cool and the offset is really a stronger rear axle than the tiny thing that comes in it.
it might be nessasary with some tracks to grind the oval slot in your rail to a rectangle to allow enough adjustment. you wont know till you assemble it.

good luck.

Make sure eveything is real tight, I went through 3 axles because bolts came a little loose, and where the male and female come together they went oval on me. Like BETHEVIPER said there a pain to adjust. But they look good.

thx guys,
i'm gonna give it a go today. we have 6" of fresh snow last night and we're suppose to get another 6"-10" today. i want to wrap up these projects so i can go out and enjoy them.
