Hi Guys looking for imformation on installing these shocks, I have done some searching and i see that some guys have installed the Apex or Vector front end to get the these shocks installed. I noticed a post from Hammer that he installed these on his mountain RX1 with a longer bolt and washers to make the height up on the tie-rods. I want to install these shocks but not the whole Apex front end. I blew my sled buget for next year. Any info would be great
Thanks
Thanks
the shocks from an apex at least a shorty are 20mm shorter than rx1 shocks, they bolt right on and will lower the front of the sled a little, 1+ inch or so, depending on your preload.
The shocks are about an inch shorter but do to the angle it actually lowered mine almost 3" I sold them and bought proper shocks.
