Just getting to installing the new shocks (thanks Tom) that I have for the warrior (damn steel bodies aren't rebuildable). I am amazed at the adjustability on the Elkas. These are quite the shocks and I'm looking forward to putting some miles on with them. They're going to be fun to play with. compression adjustment on both, rebound adjustment, oh the possibilities.

How good are they for that price and what shocks does that include?

That is for both rear shocks. Ohlins for the rear run about 850 for the pair and these are slightly more. The Elkas do have rebount adjustment that the Ohlins do not have though. Very well engineered. The shocks are seen much more in atv racing. I haven't ridden them yet, but so far it seems worth it.

For Monkers price they are well worth it but for 1G...I dont think so...
I just got a pair for my ATV and I would say if you need a price check out a guy named Tom at sweetquads.com
I am in Canada (where they are made) and he is in the states , I saved about $300 plus on my pair.
I dont know if he can get sled shocks but I would imagine he can

With the way the exchange rate is, its better to buy stuff in the US, even if its Canadian made. It'll be that way until either the US$ goes up wrt Can$, or until the price levels equalize to this exchange rate.

$1,000 for rear shocks
They better take off 100 pounds, make the sled run like it's turbo charged and attract the chicks for that kinda moola :ORC

Like I said before, ohlins run 800+, decent M10 is about 1500. The stock shocks are not rebuildable so I had to do something as they would fade bad at the end of the year. There are other alternatives but I couldn't pass up the deal (they were a demo pair). With the stock clicker shock on the warrior I got spoiled with the adjustments I could make. Now I have even more to play with.
Personally I would spend the money on shocks before I spent 400-500 on an exhaust that lost 10 pounds and only adds 2hp. It's all personal priorities. To each their own.
