I just order a push turbo for my sled . I was wondering if there was any good tips before I start the install. :4STroke:

It's a pretty straight forward install. Just remember to take pictures for your log. :pics:
Are you running the A/F gauge? If so, you may want to think about where you are going to weld in the bung for the sensor. I put mine in the short pipe between the exhaust and the turbo. It was easier to send that pipe out rather than the entire sled or removing the header. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info I do plan on running the a/f gauge. I was not aware that I had to weld the bung in for the sensor so thank you for the heads up. i will send that out before I start the install. :rocks:

107 steps and the pics are not very good, but can easily figure it out. Just finished mine and you can listen to it on one of my earlier threads. Putting new hyfax and a couple of wheel replacements on my skid and then test it on the grass.... Let me know if you have any questions during your install. I have the Trail Tank and the cold air return pipe installed was a PITA trying to squeeze the tank back into place.

Roughly how many hours to install? Ordering mine this week, any tips/tricks would be helpful.Thks
Anybody at sea level not running the trail muffler if so any issues I am being told it is needed for more back pressure at sea level ?

It took me a full weekend and a bit and that's not including clutching. However, I was taking my time and had a few beers in between :). I would spare yourself 16 or more hours... depending on how comfortable you are wrenching.
As for the trail muffer, I have not heard anything about back pressure. I do not have it so I will see if there is any truth this winter I guess. Where did you hear this? Push?

If you order the trail kit it it should have everything you need to run at low elevation. Can someone please confirm this.

I was told by Ward at Brown's Liesure that the trail muffler was needed at low elev. for back pressure. I am not 100% sure because that was the first/only time i heard that mentioned. Any other feedback? ;)!

My "trail kit" included the controller, manual boost gauge, AF gauge w/O2 sensor, an new helix. Still had to get a clutch kit. You may want to give PUSH call.

Not 100% sure yet... still waiting for it to arrive. Just asked them to send me something that would work with my set-up.

I agree with maxxp, I worked on it during down time after work or on weekends and I would say I put about 10 to 12 hours into it. I called Alan Ulmer at Ulmer Racing since I have the stage 1 clutch kit and he told me to keep the setup I already have but to add 4 washers to the beginning and end of my clutch weights to be properly set up for the Push Turbo. :4STroke:
