Installing sattle bags Any tips?

not the hard ones the oft sattle bags any usefull tips on placement of the rivots?

Place your bags where you want em. Run your straps down in a straight line (with the stiching from the bag). See where the cam buckle will line up, and drill YOUR HOLE LOL

fill your bags with towels or something to get the shape of the bags when they are full, then do as
Apex21 says.

Did you guys rivit the strap to the back bumper and loop it through the strap or do you just wrap the strap around the rear bumper.

I used a bolt, washers and nut to fasten the strap to the top edge of the snow flap.

The bolt I used was one of the bolts that gets removed when you install the skidplate...

That's a better idea, because the instuctions say to wrap it around the bumper, which will mark it up.
