i am installing a set of slydog powerhounds on my 07 attak....i currently have a 1.5 camo intense track...whats the best all around carbide to use?? will a shaper bar work better??

I like the Stud Boy shapers on my Slydog Race Ski. Good on the trail & the way the bar is shaped helps some in loose snow.

I have Bergstrom 8" triple ponits on mine and they are holding up well.

as per my signature, 7.5 Shapers. These were put on last season when I was studded & now I am running the Iceripper XT. May go 6 " next time since the hookup with iceripper not the same as studs as I can now slide the rear end a bit more but still not like unstudded track (happy medium between studded & unstudded). Don't find it a real issue though with 7.5s so see no reason tp change them out. Bergstroms are suppose to be very good but it was easier to get the Shapers.

bergstrom trips are the best bargain i have ever bought. I am on my third season with them and they are still sharp... 2000 miles and running strong.
