Carbide length.

Looking at replacing my carbides. I currently have on the 7.5 studboy shaper bar. I had this carbide installed when I was studded down the middle. Now I am running the Iceripper XT track.

With that in mind, should I stick with the 7.5` or would the 6`be a better choice now.

I have learned my lesson going with to little carbide,wasting money. More is better go with 8"
