installing the seat on my 2003 rx1 mountain!

hey

is there a certain way you gotta install the seat on the 2003 rx1 mountain? i dont think i have it on right. i have a 1 inch gap from the exhaust covers and 1 inch above the exhaust covers? please help me!

It has been a while since I pulled min but I vaguely remember a plastic tongue on the underside if the the seat that didn't always get situated correctly when inserting the front of the seat under the cowl. You might check that.
