Doing some checking on insurance for the new sled (Apex) and have come up with anywhere from$170 to 600. Best price so far was Liberty Mutual. (Need to have an auto with them to get a sled policy)

Anyone else find some good rates?

I was paying last year 500 for two RX-1's full coverage. Getsani (or some such) agency out of downstate.

$320/12 months, full coverage, $500 Deductible from State Farm. I have my truck, car, homeowners through them also. $170 has to be liability only.

My insurance quote for the Apex

At Liberty Mutual, they'll write me a policy for $172/year. This is with 250/500/250k lia., uninsured and underinsured motorist, $1000 med., and $200 deduct. on comp. & coll.

The agent is to send me the paperwork so I'll see if he missed something, but even though they are a bit more on my auto policy, with the sled, the combo is cheaper from L.M.
than the others.

$150 for the Attak. Full coverage, $100 deductible. State Farm does you right when you have multiple home and auto policies with them. My old sled got a claim check for $900 after an "incident", and the next year my rates went down. Try that with a car. ;)!

A year ago I found that Liberty Mutual was far and away the best value for my overall insurance needs (home, auto, boat, snowmobile, umbrella). I swithched from Farmers. Make sure you get adequate coverage (liability limits) and if it is only a few $ - go with the bigger A+ rated company. There are many small time underwriters offering cheap rates - it is not worth it IMO.

Liberty Mutual saved me $400 a year when I switched the house, cars, and sled over, with better coverage. Plus they're the only insurance company that haven't screwed anything up when adding or dropping new vehicles. ;)!

paid 200 ea. for a 05 rx and 05 venture rs through state farm with 250 deduct. wouldn't think the apex would be any more seeing how they go by cc's

I had a 03 RX-1, full coverage through liberty mutual was $128.00 per year. I have a good driving record. I could not find a better rate Am Fam was $400.00 for the same coverages. I had to switch all ins over, but its worth it. They have great prices on home owners. Car is competitive.

Apex ER on order (blue)
