Has anybody had this happen to them? Will not start and the intercooler
is filled with gas. It acts like the fuel pressure regulator diapragm is
blowed out or has a internal leak. Has a northeast turbo kit on it for the
last 3 years. Turbo Turtlle is out of the shop until next tuesday.
Any ideas?

floats may be stuck open.
checked the float operation several times.
checked needle and seat also.
checked fuel pressure, all ok.
this thing is weird..
Also, this sled sat all summer long in a nice garage with racing
fuel in the system and tank. (torco 110)
Thanks

Your fuel regulator was frozen.
Does that mean my regulator is junk and it needs replaced?
Thanks

I am not sure on that but i have seen this happen when it is real cold out and you are sucking in lots of snow dust. If it was mine i would get a new one.
Good luck Skydog P.S.IT is pushing way to much psi right past your seats in the carbs .

Is the FPR a Malpassi? You can disassemble the thing in about 1 minute and check/clean the internals. 4 Phillips screws on the top and the whole thing comes apart. Not a lot of parts that can fail inside, might just need a good cleaning.
I will be taking it apart tonight and see whats going on,looked like
it had screws holding it together, not sure on the brand.
Thanks

The floats stuck open , this happened to be two years a ago. Change oil a must.

Like he said....check your oil. I had that happen after a rollover and fuel pump stayed on (I had hard wired it due to difficulties) the thing filled with gas. I took out plugs and ran the gas out and towed it home. Used compressed air to blow out cylinders for a while and finally got it all dry but found that my oil did end up with gas in it.

also check and make sure your fuel tank is venting properly

CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 4-5 LBS FUEL PRESSURE WITH PUMP ON, ALSO CHECK FLOAT LEVELS. IF CORRECT THEN CLEAN CARBS AND YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHANGE YOUR NEEDLE AND SEATS. I'VE SEEN THEM LEAK BEFORE, REPLACE WITH NEW AND PROBLEMS GONE. JEFF
