Who is the Lightest ? List the weights on Powder Lities, McXpress, MPI, CPR...... I would assume the supercharge has the most front end nose weight because everything is mounted in front of the engine in the nose , unless there intercooler is light weight. , could there be as much as 4 to 8lbs. difference in some of these intercoolers. Looking for the total package. best performance, hassel free, reliabile, light weight, no heat problems, no header problems, just flat a$$ works the frist time every time. Thinking about running 15lbs boost, 100-th-head gasket for 9.11 to 1 ratio, 4 degree retard timing key.06 APEX MTN.

I had the lightest intercooler that bender makes on one of my sleds , it endedup cracking out out at the seams . I called Bender , and they said they had a thicker one which is what I have now. Moral of the story - Don't get a thin intercooler to save a couple pounds.

I hear Ya Turbo Tim, No one wants to buy the lightest just for the sake of being light, I'm sure of all the 4 to 5 top turbo kit builders will claim to be the toughest, of those 5 who is the lightest without sacrificeing durability currently being built. Brand X might be a better design than Brand Y . They are to costly to make a mistake.

If you want a reliable and lightweight aftercooler, you should go with

the powderlites one. it is a simple ,straight thru unit and performs ... ;)!
What i dislike about the bender one is core area...I dont have it's airflow
specs but,it "looks" less efficient?... I is a straight thru desing tho...

Thanks for your imput peteracing. I ran into a local friend that bought brand Y intercooler turbo kit , and after seeing Powder Lities intercooler in person he wishes he would have bought Powder lities instead of brand Y.
