If your package size is under the magic 108", it is difficult to beat USPS Priority International. Above 108" you have to go UPS, TNT or DHL which is a lot more expensive.

The package was smaller but the problem was the weight. USPS has a 70 pounds weight limit :o|

Do you ever get the feeling you are being royally scr*wed by these carriers?

I have a good story. I bought two printed circuit boards about the size of a matchbox for around 20 each for $40 total. By the time I paid brokerage/duties/VAT/courier, the delivered price was $121!

What kills me is it came in a big box (more $'s) and the rate that UPS charged was even higher than thier posted rate for the size of box/wt....

Lots of companies around that can help. Avoid the UPS/Fedex where you can...no bargains there.

OTM

Yeah it works, but get rates from them first. With jetcarrier you can get a US adres with your name . Like: JetCarrier 16133 Att: Medelsvenson volvo driver, 902 W Linden Av # 12345. Linden, NJ 007.
Then you can buy stuff from ebay and others that only ship within US. They ship to your US adress and Jetcarrier do the rest of the job, also tax.

I´ve used Jetcarrier several times and it works great! Best thing is that you have to send them the reciept for you purchase for customs reasons. They can easilly be edited to what ever amout you think are suitable :)
